The Pivot is itself, pivoting.
When we started CMO Lab in 2018, we wanted to examine how marketers were adapting and pivoting. Surprisingly, many Canadian marketers had not in fact pivoted their strategies. Through our podcast, we sought to feature senior marketers and entrepreneurs who had shifted their strategies, delivering ground-breaking programming that married the new art and science of 21st century marketing.
Now, in the age of COVID-19, virtually every brand is forced to change direction and find a way to pivot their business. Some have done this through creative marketing campaigns while many have shifted their entire operations to deliver materials or services to frontline workers.
