Do Canadians still love denim?

“Denim on denim” is a fashion statement and ongoing trend that we continue to see around the world. Fashion bloggers and trendsetters alike wear denim overalls, jean jackets over denim shirts and, of course, covet the latest pair of dark denim jeans for casual everyday wear.

Despite our keen eye for denim-doting individuals, The NPD Group, a global market research company, recently surveyed Canadians to analyze the decline of denim sales across Canada. We wanted to find out why for our infographic challenge. It seems that workout pants, among other styles, are stealing the market share and turning the fashion industry upside down.
