(TORONTO, ON, July 8, 2015, CNW) – As summer work picks up within the walls of APEX PR, the Toronto-based agency promotes Jennifer Stein as its new vice president, while hiring new account coordinator, Cole Douglas.
“It is a busy and exciting time here at APEX Public Relations,” says Ken Evans, managing partner. “We are happy to celebrate the professional success of one of our dedicated colleagues, while at the same time adding an additional member to the team.”
New vice president, Stein (@ohsoJennifer), has been working with APEX PR on numerous consumer, corporate and technology accounts for seven years, most recently as an account director. Stein remains a trusted advisor to clients such as Husqvarna, Miller Genuine Draft, R3VOLVED and Walmart Canada. Jennifer’s determination and drive have recently gained recognition when the Walmart Canada team, running under her professional guidance, received the Best Creative Campaign of the year during the Canadian Public Relations Society’s 2015 ACE Awards gala. Stein holds a political science degree from Carleton University and a diploma in Public Relations from Durham College.
Cole Douglas (@coledouglas7), the newest addition to the team, joins the agency full-time as an account coordinator after interning last summer at APEX. Cole’s energetic approach brings a fresh perspective to work produced for clients such as the Walmart Canada, Polysporin, RSA Insurance and Husqvarna. His commitment and hard work to the industry was recognized with an APEX Scholarship, granted to a student demonstrating academic achievement and community leadership. Cole is also an active member of the Canadian Public Relations Society where he acted as the vice president of external efforts for the Student Steering Committee. He holds a degree in public relations from Humber College.
