UPS Canada needed to educate Canadians about the pitfalls of poor gift packaging during the holiday season while raising awareness of key shipping deadlines as a means of optimizing its customer service. APEX created a multi-faceted media relations campaign that targeted key urban markets, offering media the opportunity to ride with UPS drivers; get a glimpse of UPS’s busy Toronto distribution centre; and, learn proper packaging techniques from experts at The UPS Store. The result was the most widespread media coverage ever of UPS during the holiday season.
