Vice President, Consumer Communications

APEX Public Relations Inc., IABC Toronto's 2007 & 2008 Agency of the Year, is a dynamic agency with top tier corporate clients such as Kelloggs, Energizer, Levi's, Nike and Bausch & Lomb.   We require an enthusiastic senior practitioner to work in our consumer marketing practice.

We are looking for a practitioner with a minimum of ten years experience with a track record for driving new business.   The ideal candidate must be adept at client counsel, have excellent media relations skills and relationships, as well as event and project management expertise.   We offer candidates an excellent client roster in a fast-paced environment ideal for creative team players who can meet multiple deadlines and who thrive in a high energy atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of public relations experience
• Successful new business acquisition capabilities
• Results-driven consumer media relations skills
• Excellent writing abilities
• Solid organization, budgeting and account management
• Strong leadership and presentation skills
• PR agency experience required
